@jksloan Ummm. How about the Skype application for VOIP? Works well on the iPhone. iCall and Fring are well-thought of too.

Running iPhone 3.0 now. Wifi was squirrelly and wouldn’t join networks until I did a reset. My iPhone 2G may be showing its age.
