Apple Genius took my out-of-warranty Nvidia-cripped MacBook Pro back for motherboard replacement at no charge. Got to love Apple service.

MacBook Pro died with NVidia 8600M disease. Now reverting to Powerbook G4 until repair. Thank goodness for Time Machine and screen sharing.

This occurred to me today watching more rain: it is nearly August and the US has had no hurricanes this year.
