Our FiOS bandwidth has been liberated from the basement thanks to a nice new drill bit and some Cat 6 cable.

FiOS install went well. Unfortunately, my powerline Ethernet network has to cross a breaker, so my FiOS bandwidth is locked in my basement.

FiOS guy seems very happy that I want the router in the basement right next to the fiber conduit. I’m putting him back on schedule.
