Why is it that every day, some people think that their ongoing conversation shouldn’t be stifled by their choice to sit in the quiet car?
Think of how many brand new lines of code Apple announced in the WWDC keynote today. It’s at least millions, if not tens of millions
My initial reaction to a scan of the Swift book: a secure and type safe Apple Javascript, differentiated by APIs that aren’t in the book.
Android developers don’t even have an iBook app to read the Swift documentation without owning or borrowing an Apple product.
Talk about ecosystem: Swift debs get documentation on Apple iBooks platform from Apple Store to program Apple iPhone, iPad, Mac and iCloud.
Note how many cross-device experiences were demoed live at WWDC keynote, and how few other firms show and how many of those are PPT-only.
With the new integration of phone and Mac OS, I think we’ll see lots more TouchID + proximity authentication in Mac OS X. #ygmd
Tim Cook: “Software, devices, and services working seamlessly together, something only Apple can do.” Great differentiation statement.
The introduction of Swift reminds me a lot of Apple’s creation of Hypercard, but is a lot more complete product.
