Does anyone know if Windows Holographic actually uses holograms? Seems more like augmented reality, not optical Fourier transforms.

Short version: mobile devices are getting to be well-understood; big data challenges and solutions are just getting started.

I feel bad when I have to tell reporters I now work on big data instead of mobile devices. Someday I’ll do a blog post explaining why.
