My main point: the idea of “one mobile device to rule them all” is as flawed an idea as “one electric motor per home”.

The fact that Apple will launch an even smaller screen device tonight doesn’t help the phablet-uber-alles meme either.

Has anyone noticed that the whole “phablets are going to rule the world” meme has died out now that Apple sells a large (but < 6 in) phone?
