Even tho it’s not my job any more, I’m planning a blog post in a few days about my quant model for Apple Watch launch sales. Stay tuned.

I am pretty sure the order limit isn’t 1 or 2; I know one person who has already ordered 3 watches on their account.

Does anyone know if Apple limits how many watches a person can pre-order? Wondering if immediate long waits are due to gray market orders.

Good to see the Apple Store Web order site working smoothly now too. Apple has clearly added capacity since iPhone 6 launch.

Apple Watch order completed at 3:06 by using the Apple Store app. Very cool.

And if we’re not constrained to one device, then we can have devices with lots of different screen sizes.

My main point: the idea of “one mobile device to rule them all” is as flawed an idea as “one electric motor per home”.

The fact that Apple will launch an even smaller screen device tonight doesn’t help the phablet-uber-alles meme either.

Has anyone noticed that the whole “phablets are going to rule the world” meme has died out now that Apple sells a large (but < 6 in) phone?
