Scanning your boarding pass with your palm down makes the process more natural and less intrusive on the officer’s personal space.
Apple Watch tip: mount your watch on the inside of your wrist for scanning your airline boarding pass at TSA; it’s much less awkward.
I’m amused that I still get “That’s so cool” shoutouts from TSA officers when I check into airline flights using my Apple Watch.
