Assuming the thermal design is decent, does Surface Book mean I can now make a 10-node Hadoop cluster that’s only a couple inches thick?

Sony, Asus, Lenovo, Dell and Toshiba are all yelling “Hey we’ve been making Windows convertibles for years!”

The Apple Macbook design team is sitting in a room shouting “Bring it!” at the Surface Book guys.

That sound you just heard is Microsoft’s OEMs screaming at their screens now that Microsoft is competing with them in notebooks.

Microsoft does know that the Macbook Air isn’t Apple’s most powerful computer, doesn’t it?

I think if MSFT has to use liquid cooling in its new Windows 10 phones, it blew its thermal budget. That heat has to go somewhere.
