During our Maine trip, neither the NH nor Maine Tools read our EZ-Pass transponder. I tried removing it from the front windshield and tried it on both the parcel shelf and in the middle of the rear window, and none of those positions worked either.

The odd part about this phenomenon is that I drove to and from both downtown Boston and Logan airport this week, and in both cases, the transponder read perfectly here in Massachusetts at all toll booths.

I’m now wondering what makes the NH and Maine readers different from the Massachusetts ones.
