Facebook’s home page continually tells me of how old I am. While it may be a fact, Facebook doesn’t have to rub it in.

That makes a hat trick of failures today: first United then NYSE, and now the air conditioning on the Fitchburg express commuter rail.

I’m not saying outages are anything deliberate, but those “Emergency Stop” buttons on servers look an awful lot like Staples “Easy” buttons.

Re the @NYSE and @united outages today: this is what happens when people get a three day weekend and then have to go back to work again.
