AAPL will make far more profit this week than AMZN made last quarter. AMZN’s “huge beat” and AAPL’s “big miss” are both absurd hyperbole.

Calorie labels are awesome: They tell me that when I choose a glazed donut over a low-fat muffin, I’m making a healthy, low-calorie choice.

FB stock price absurdity: If AAPL had the same P/E as FB, its share price would be $831, and market cap would be $4.6 trillion.

I think we can now retire the trope of “Apple always lowballs its earnings guidance”.
