Came home to our furnace smoke detector complaining that it has malfunctioned and should be replaced. Good to know and will do that today.

Nothing beats a good night’s sleep in one’s own bed after 5 weeks away except maybe making coffee afterward.

Landed in Boston after 5.5 weeks out of the country. It is good to be home with reasonable temps again after 100 deg weather in Mumbai.

Landed in Istanbul. We are now 1/3 of the way home.
