Spent the afternoon exploring cluster analysis in R and interactively visualized correlations with ggobi. No hard results but learned lots.

In my annual “count all the ads in the Thanksgiving Boston Globe” effort, I found 818 pages this year. That’s up 16 percent over last year.

Got up early and got our 14-foot Christmas tree from Honeypot Orchards down the hill. The big trees go quickly.

iPad iOS 4.2 downloading. Am amazed at bandwidth Apple’s servers deliver despite everyone hammering at once — 4.2 must be Akamaized.
