R legend labeling problem solved, thanks to fellow R afficionado @JeffreyBreen. Sometimes you just need a proper hammer to make it work.

Fighting R to properly label my ggplot2 map legends for my report. The error messages being thrown when I add a label are highly misleading.

Glad to see my son and his friends home safely from their prom — couldn’t ask for a better (or better looking) set of young men and women.

Finished “The End of Wall Street” on the iPad; it clearly disproves the theory that no one could foresee the financial meltdown.

Family is now completely addicted to iPad, some for watching anime, others for reading books. Should have bought two.

@jmoore700 iBooks and the Kindle app are not the same. iBooks allows you to read pages 2-up like a real book. Kindle doesn’t.

Quiet rainy day at home with a fire and Pixeljunk Monsters on the PS3. Casual game? Nowhere close.
