I think iOS just got crowned as the best platform for enterprise mobility going forward. Why? IBM will support everything on iOS first.

AAPL and IBM team up to drive biz mobility. Almost $0.8 trillion in market cap in those two firms driving business.

Note: the DMG test for nickel was done in 2013-14 on an iPad made in 2010. Nickel may have contaminated the casing during 3-4 years of use.

Peds article is careful to not claim cause/effect of iPad to nickel allergy, but to consider electronics in diagnosis. AP wasn’t as careful.

While the Peds article attributes rash to iPad, they do say they used multiple actions to reduce nickel exposure including diet changes.

Dimethylglyoxime (DMG) testing of Denmark cell phones in 2008 showed about 11-33% positive for nickel. dr.dk/NR/rdonlyres/4…

I bought/read the Pediatrics article on iPad nickel exposure. iPad was tested with Dimethylglyoxime, but photo w/ result is poor quality.

I am skeptical of reports of iPad nickel allergies, simply because common aluminum alloys such as 6061 and 2024 don’t contain nickel.
