Remember this time line from back in June?

Well, this is where we are now:

My error was assuming that once we signed the contract, the exploration phase would begin around June 1. As it turns out, we had to wait a couple months for the team member who does the detailed design and estimation to free up from another project. So we got started on August 1 instead.

So thinking ahead to the actual construction and the upcoming holidays, I suspect our construction will begin in early 2025.

In the meantime, Gilmore can’t give us a hard price for the project until we pick out appliances, countertops, toilets, tile, fixtures, bathtubs, drawer pulls, and a host of other parts we need. That means it’s time to go shopping.
